About Crime Scene Publishing 

 Crime Scene Publishing was established by author BC Elander.

 

Ms. Elander wanted to give new writers the opportunity to have their works actually read, reviewed and considered and not summarily dismissed like the traditonal publishing houses do with unknown writers.

 

By doing so, Ms. Elander challenged the idea that only the big, traditional New York City publishing houses could represent emerging writers and promote the quality work these new writers produce.

 

Crime Scene Publishing allows its writers to personally interact with the staff. Since we are a small press, our book cover artist and editor charge for their services at this time. However, if you present your manuscript with minimal errors, minor editing will be included in your contract.

Unlike the big presses, we do not keep any of your royalties. We charge only for work done. Our publishing fee is a flat $100.00 per title.
