This was a very stimulating story. I was adsorbed from the beginning and on the edge of my seat several times while I read this book. I live in Carson City, NV, where the story takes place. This made it more alluring to me when there were references to places I have been or roads I travel on. I would comment to my husband about the book when we would end up at or around a place that was written about. I feel this is because the characters were believeable. I found them to be memorable and appealing. I did not find it to be predictable which can be hard to someone who reads a lot of books. It was a great mixture of horror, romance, adventure and thrill. I look forward to the follow-up book to "Evidence of The Vampire." I will recommend this book to friends and family. Thanks for the great read. Barbara, Carson City, NV

 

I just finished Evidence of the Vampire and I enjoyed it. The author mixes the genres of a crime procedural, a romantic novel, and a gothic thriller to create something very different from any of its components. In watching Sarah Baker, you get to meet an emotionally charged crime scene investigator who finds herself investigating the carnage left in the wake of an ageless vampire. In addition, she finds herself in a romantic triangle with two intriguing men who are intricately involved with the vampire dilemma. The author takes you into Sarah's world as you experience her job, her love, her friends, and her fear while weaving a narrative of tension that builds and builds through the book. I normally read romance novels but when a friend recommended that I read this book, I couldn't put it down. I literally read it in three days. The book is full of suspense, and I couldn't wait to see what happened to the characters at the end! Loved it! Debbie Lessord, Vista, CA

 

Well written and intriguing to the last chapter. I could have read many more chapters had they been included., I hated to come to the end. the characters are believable and certainly have a well rounded knowledge of their profession.
